Drew Brees interview on Monday Night Countdown.

Drew Brees sat down to get interview by Stuart Scott. Stuart Scott ripped him pretty hard with the Miami loss. Stuart repeated to ask him questions about the Miami loss and never once did he or Stuart give the Fins much credit. Stuart said "how can you play the way you did yesterday and lose to the Dolphins." Brees didn't have any comment to that. Also Stuart asked him to associate a word for each of the Chargers 5 losses this year and he said ridiculous to every single on except for the Fins. He said it was unfourtunate.


Is anyone else getting sick of the Fins not getting any credit?

yeah, that was kind of annoying.........they really made it look like SD layed down for us and there was no way we could have beaten them if they weren't looking past us.

Also, of all the games they discussed, the Miami game was by far the most convincing against them....they scored late to get within 2 points....but we were playing soft and they only scored with 15 seconds left.

Whatever, this year is for the Dolphin's confidense.....next year comes the respect from everyone else!

Brees is nothing but class bro. I think Drew was saying that they didn't play up to there potential. You won't meet a more humble, and likeable guy. I am out here in Charger land, and I have heard many interviews with him, and he is a total stand up guy. He is not a smack talker, but a down to earth guy.

I am out here in Charger land, and I have heard many interviews with him, and he is a total stand up guy. He is not a smack talker, but a down to earth guy.

I have seen a handfull of interviews with DB> Very stand up. No I's in his vocabulary, only us and we's. Not brash, more like bashfull. Good guy. Oh yeah, also turning out to be one hell of a QB as well:D

Well if he said the other losses were ridiculous (meaning those teams were sooooo far beneath the Chargers) and said the Fins loss was unfortunate (meaning they needed the win but unfortunately came up flat and lost), that's respect from Brees. Was he supposed to say "expected" for the loss to us? I mean it surprised many people so why would the other team say they weren't as good as us and should expect to lose to us? I say at least he showed us respect, regardless of what the dork interviewing him said.

Yeah I didn't say Brees was classless. I just said neither of them gave us any credit. He was a very calm and mellow guy who made jokes during the interview. Being a Buckeyes fan I saw a lot of Brees and was one of many who wanted him here in Miami. It's a shame that I doubt the Chargers are gonna release him.

To the family here. We must realize, that being 7-7 you are not going to get a lot of atta boys! This will take place next year after another successful draft, and a great free agency signing period. If you read into Drew's comments they were beat by a good team, but they didn't play there game either. It's all good. Keep the faith! We finish this year strong, and set it up for next year! It's all good!:D
