Drew Brees got the franchise tag now.. Jeez, what a leader he is. Greedy as ****, he pretty much put the Saints in a hole now and Nicks will not be re-signed.

When Michael Vick makes more than you, then yes, you can hold out for what you are worth. Last big contract Brees will sign, no greed, just pay the man what he is worth. The NO frontoffice seen this coming, and did nothing to be in position to handle his expected cap number in 12.
