What type of challenge does Miami’s defense present?

“They’re extremely physical. And any time you play a 3-4 team, the personnel that it takes to play in that system – you look at guys like Jason Taylor and Joey Porter that have been guys that easily could put their hands down and play defensive end but all of a sudden they’re these stand-up, pass-rush linebackers and they bring a physical presence. Both safeties are very aggressive, get up in the front a lot, make a lot of tackles. Both corners are very solid. I think all the way around, it’s probably the most complete defense that we have played against in regards from man to man. You just don’t look at them and see any weaknesses.”

get up in the front

Uh oh...here comes the deep ball. I'm not very confident in the accuracy of his statement. We are not bad, but there are holes in our defense.

Let's just hope we can bring the pressure up front and force him to make decisions and throws earlier than he is comfortable with.

Drew is just being safe and not giving any board material. Our safeties thus far have been below average to put it nicely, and those LB's haven't exactly been on fire except stopping the run, but TEs have had their way with us.

Hardly do we ever here from one player or coach that we suck or just do not care about and when someone does it usually smacks them right back in the face. DO NOT get drew wrong he knows that our problem is pass defense and especially our safety's and will hit our weakness until bell or Wilson find a way show that they are getting better and are tackling, intercepting, or just freaking bating footballs away better each play. Which i really do not see happening.

I don't see why you posted the Crowder-Light picture, if I remember correctly that punk pulled off Crowder's helmet, grabbed his hair, and sucker punched him, while Crowder only pushed him.

heh im sure you cant sense it in the text, but brees is watering at the mouth after watching our gamefilms.

Yeah wilson kinda sucks. I want to say Bell is good but thus far this season not so much. I hope he picks up his game, he used to be our best DB, now he seems like a liability.

Lol. Brees knows inside that our safeties and linebackers have been playing awful coverage wise.

so far this year it isnt just Wilson that sucks bell has been playing pretty bad also but i think this will be the week they both step it up

Our pass defense was just as suspect last year. They didn't gel until close to the end of the year. Its only a matter of time until this unit comes together.

well im gonna pick on will allen. It says alot that we got 2 rookie dbs and opposing qbs choose to go after our vetern db

Lol, I was gonna say... Gibril must not show up on tape very well. He's the invisible man.
