I've been a member for a few years here but never really posted, but now I feel like I should because of some information I just found out. I am currently attending Central Michigan University and I am friends with a couple of guys from the team, and actually went to high school with one who is getting a full ride here..........WR/DB Jeremy Wilson: Davison High School

But anyway, I was getting tutored for math because I need to pass it badly, and the girl who was helpin me told me that her best friend got drafted by the Miami Dolphins last year (i knew exactly who she was talkin about but couldnt believe that she was best friends with em). She said that Drew was pissed about gettin hurt last year because he wanted to play really bad and that he couldnt believe the number of guys who are just there for the paycheck. She said he was big before he went to the NFL but she saw em after and she said that you couldnt believe the difference on how much bigger and stronger he was. She had just talked to him recently and said he wanted her to go down to Miami for some of the games and training camp, because his family passes arent being used due to his family not being very close........

She then explained that the only reason why he even got drafted was because teams were scouting Joe Staley and saw Mormino play. I already knew this but because she told me I knew she was telling the truth and she continued to tell me how hes workin out hard and hes hell bent on starting this year. Hes hungry and I would love to see em play especially because hes from CMU and if he could stay healthy he would be force.

Also, my brother also goes to CMU and is a senior this year and all 3 of his roomates went to Lapeer East (Jake Long's high school). One of them is actually good friends with Jake and last talked to him over X-mas break and said that he would love to play for Miami and that his agent bought him a brand new Cadillac Escalade. My high school (Davison High School) played Jake Long in the playoffs his senior year and we beat them haha, but I am a huge Michigan fan and I hope we draft Jake Long (NOT Chris, would rather have Gholston than Chris) with the #1 pick if we dont trade down because he was an absolute bad a** and his presence is felt on the field towering over everyone.

If you guys have ?'s regarding my sources let me know and i will answer them, im not here to make up stuff and i obviously have a reason for posting for like the 1st time and i dont think i would type all of this if it wasnt true.

Interesting stuff. You know, originally I thought Mormino would've been a backup C to Samson. My original thought was that Parcells & Company were going to build a monster OL full of 6'5-6'7 ft guys like they did in Dallas. With the signing of Smiley it changed my thinking. I think Drew has a legit shot to be the starting LG this season.

boy...you really know how to get to the point,huh....

If Mormino has indeed gotten bigger and stronger, combine that with his nasty deposition, and he may indeed be the OG we have been looking for.

Figured the more detail I had, the easier it would be for you guys to realize that this isnt just another "hearsay" or rumor.

i know man...i was j/pin...i agree...our defense is already to filled in the front 7 for Chris, and even if we find a way to chip him in,we still don't get ABSOLUTE value from him, rather there as Jake Long he can start right away....oh and just for the record....if we do go defense,I agree,I'd rather have Vernon Gholston too:up:

I would hope so. The one thing we kept hearing last offseason was that he needed to get more upper body strength. So hopefully he was able to do that and add to that 299lb frame that he was.

LOL...IM SORRY,I THOUGHT WE ALREADY HAD HIM....

Really like Mormino.

Believe he was as good of a prospect as a guard than Staley was a tackle last year..

He'll be this team starting left guard.

And as far as Jake Long, you word to god's ears. There's not a more perfect fit.

LT: Long
LG: Mormino
C: Satele
RG: Smiley
RT: Carey

If that Unit gells quick, we're talking about one nice young line.

god....i dont know about you guys...but i am VERY uncomfortable with offensive linemen being under 300lbs.,.....

Personally I would flip Smiley and Mormino. I just like the idea of having an experience player next to both of them. It would help them more mentally to adjust to the NFL better. I know Mormino played in the preseason but he didn't see any regular season action because of his shoulder injury.
