when Ricky came back from his suspension saban said ricky & ronnie were both starting. What do you guy think of having dual starters at QB. Let Gus and Sage alternate either drives or quarters then at halftime if 1 of them is really hot let him play the second half. I know this wont happen tomorrow but what if Gus has another lackluster day.

we could also have the LEMON formation were we have all three quarterbacks in the backfield. That way if we pitch the ball to any quarterback in the backfield maybe we can see what all the quarterbacks are capable at the same time. We can call it the three headed monster. :)

It doesnt really work in the NFL... QBs need to get into a rythm...

3 headed monster. That sounds good. Maybe we can re-sign Brock and add him to the mix?

Been done, it doesent work. Actully Spurrier did it when he coached the skins. BIG MISTAKE. He is a college coach and that only works for colleges. For some reason the NFL is completly diff.

That's brilliant dude....the defense would never get a sack on the LEMON formation

Theres been a revolving door at both tackles all season. Now we have dual starters at RB. Saban has said the player that gives us the best chance to win will start.. Can we really say that Gus gives us the best chance to win anymore?
We've lost 3 in a row. Gus looks bad but in his defense he isnt getting much help. If hes struggling again maybe a series spent on the sidelines where he can watch how the defense is blitzing, where the stunts are, watch the coverages, without htaking 3 steps back and getting sacked or hurried will help him .

well the best quarterbacks to insert into the 3 headed monster are quarterbacks that can run the ball but have wimpy arms. Im not sure if Brock fits that bill. Quarterbacks like Jay Fiedler are perfect for formations like this. It is too bad Jay Fiedler is not with us anymore. We will definately miss his running ability as a quarterback. The dolphins could have perfectly inserted him into this system.

Didn't Shanarat try that with Tommy Maddox and someone else not too long ago?

Actually, as sad as it may be, that would probably be the #1 greatest play of the week on sportcenter. I personally would love to see it, if only for entertainment sake.

remeber the good old days when david woodley started and don strock would come in and relieve the second half. it actually worked , we went to the super bowl, but then again we don't have the killer bee's on defense and the mastermind shula anymore.
