ya hes the texans starting left tackle.. he was a reach for them in the 1st round a couple of years ago but he blows and hes out.. so if he sucks imagine how bad his backup must be.. not to mention they just picked up a LT that has been out of football for a month

He has allowed 7 sacks,10 qb hits,and 30 qb pressures

our whole offensive line 7 players have allowed only
41 pressures

You may be right on this one. The fact that he was a first round pick last year pretty much guarantees his will start for the time being.

They had no LT backup on their depth chart.

The backup RT is Rashad Butler in his fourth year. He has never started a game. He was drafted by the Panthers in 2006 in the third round and apparently never stuck as was with the Texans in 07.

This could be a huge developement if we can bring pressure from both sides and confuse the blocking RB's.

I say blitz em up one side and down the other and let our rookie corners cover one on one for the two to three seconds Shaub will get if he is lucky.

Even the Jags with their awful pass rush were able to get to the QB twice a few weeks ago. Rushing the passer should be the most effective way of slowing down that Texans offense when their O-line is that bad.

With Wake only getting 12-15-9-9-10 defensive snaps in the last 5
games I doubt there will be any huge difference in his snap counts

Wake will have to do what he does best with limited snaps because of our coaches being so stubborn.
