I might get bashed for this. Just got cut. I know he has a poor work ethic, injury concerns, etc., but could be a good fit while Ronnie is out. Just a thought.

dont need him, morris and minor were fine. I would of liked to see them get the ball more. I mean there obviously no ronnie brown or ricky williams but we'll be fine with what we have.

agreed would have loved to see morris especially get more runs i honestly think he could have broke 100 yards
 
trust me, as a guy who has to follow Steeler football, we don't need anything Staley has to offer. Morris and Minor are adequate, maybe even get Cobb are few carries. If things really get desperate, Lee Suggs is waiting in the wings.
 
Shows you the life expectancy of a running back in this league. Duce was one of the premier backs in the league for a season or two, and has now been delegated to the bench by injuries for what seems like forever. I don't see Saban adding him, especially this late in the season with no playoff hope and the possiblity of Ricky returning next season.
 
I refuse to take on any player who gets his *** beat and jewelry stolen at a club.
 
He's not half of the running back that he used to be. Season is basically over so what's the point of signing a guy who's not going to help us at all? If anything he would be just another project that we bring in hoping to make it big.
 
i dont see where it could hurt to bring him in.

i mean, Ronnie is out, Morris and Minor are known quantities, and Staley is a guy who can take a little more punishment than Morris and Minor, so why not? plus, we cant count on Ricky for anything, so sign him to a minimum deal, and see what he's got left, it cant hurt us anymore this season.

He's injury prone as hell. The slightest breeze could collapse his lungs.
 
Wow! So some of you guys want us to sign a RB who was cut by a team with an O-line built for the run??
