Dungy pulling a Saban?

why would he ever leave the NFL and Manning? I don't see this one happening
 
He is in a winning situation with the Colts. Why would he leave? Especially to coach the Gophers. That is a step back IMO. I know they can not pay him the money the Colts are paying.
 
If Dungy doesn't make the it to the SB this year I could see him possibly getting fired.
 
I dont see him leaving or getting fired.

Really? The tide is a program nearly as storied as Notre Dame. I would only object to how it was that Nick handled leaving for the tide and the statements that can only be chactorized (at best) as deliberately misleading.

Frankly we need to get over it. Venting won't help. He wasn't that good a pro coach based on record. When staring down the task, he blinked. He's like a quarterback with "happy feet" in the pocket. Let it go, forget it. If this is Nick's charactor, we're best rid of him.
 
He has never even coached in college, just because his alma matters job is open doesn't mean he'll leave one of the best jobs in the NFL to go coach there. Especially if its not even a professional team.
