Dunn an option in Seattle?

<Feb. 8> The Seahawks will keep a close eye on Dunn this offseason. If Dunn becomes a cap casualty in Atlanta, and if RB Shaun Alexander leaves Seattle via free agency, the Seahawks will likely make a run at acquiring Dunn, Pro Football Weekly is hearing. Seahawks team president Tim Ruskell told PFW at the Super Bowl that he will always have an interest in players he grew to know well in the past at stops with the Falcons and Buccaneers.

From Espn insider expect the colts and seahawks to go after him since they would not have to give anything up, So now Dunn, Alexander, and Edge will all be in the mix as well as the two studs in the first round. Ricky will not bring any first day draft pick so he will be a Dolphin again.

If they let him go for cap reasons than it would just add one more team to the list of people who need a good cheap back. With the trouble Vick has as a pocket passer I dont think they can afford to not have a proven stud rb.

But wouldn't the Falcons cutting Dunn and the Falcons needing a #1 running back wouldn't it open up the possibility of a trade for Matt Schaub sending Ricky there, so it might ignite the fire and not put it out.

:sr23: Did ricky drop a blunt and start this fire, thought he was done with that

Exactly... if one opening is filled, than another opening is created...

Duckett is not the answer...

exactly. BTW, im not sure if DUnn fits those teams rolls. all of those teams have powerful strong but yet fast RB'.s dunn is not either but just fast and quick.

Doesn't Edgerrin James have a house in Atlanta? I think he'd be a better fit in that offense.

I think James will go to Atlanta, for that reason

I thought he moved there recently. It's closer to Florida than Indy is, and he seems like he could be a good fit in that offense, especially with Duckett giving him a break every now and again. Plus it's one more target for Vick, and he needs all the help he can get w/that receiving corp.

So, after losing Dunn as a capcasualty, they would go sign James, who would be even MORE expensive? Where is the logic in this.
How dare you use common sense in a situation such as this one...
