Durant signs 7-year, $60 million endorsement deal with Nike

The Seattle Times, citing industry sources, reported on Wednesday that Durant had earlier turned down a $70 million deal with adidas. That contract called for a $12 million signing bonus, but Durant has a history dating to eighth grade with Nike.

NBA players make more from shoe deals then NFL players get from regular football contracts. Ridiculous. I kind of have an allegiance to Converse going back to 8th grade, so I will be waiting for my shoe deal.
