Do you remember what happened to Chad Jackson last year? he was projected to go mid first round and was even projected in some drafts to go to our fins. However, on draft day he dropped a full round into the middle of the 2nd round to the new england patriots. I have a real strong feeling jarret is going to be there when we pick 40th overall. Players like Calvin Johnson, Robert Meachem, Dwyane Bowe, Ted Ginn Jr, and even Sidney Rice have moved past jarret based on his horrible timed speed. Jarret performs on the field and his production outweighs his talent by far. Could this based on the competition on the college level? or is he just a playmaker who doesnt need speed to be successful? either way, there is a huge chance you could see the fins with the opportunity to select him 40th overall.

It will greatly depend on what he runs in the 40 during his Pro Day on March 28th. If he runs in the 4.5s or better he may or not be there for us with our first pick in the 2nd. If he runs, as it has been rumored, in the 4.7s he'll be there in the 3rd.

I don't really see the need for him to be honest. Unless you want him to replace Chambers or Hagan. What our WR Corps desparately needs is a burner that can play the outside so we can move Chambers in to the slot. I'd much rather have Meachem, Bowe, or Ginn, probably even Rice.

Add Steve Smith to that list. There are 7 Wr's, we should be able to get one. And out of those top 7, they are all better then Hagan. In the draft, his downside was dropped passes, and he dropped so many easy passes last year. How can you be a wide receiver and drop passes. We need reliability, and who can you tell me is reliable on this team?

Jarrett plays better on the field than his measurables suggest. That sound very Marvin Harrison or TO-ish. He's a big target and has made a lot of big plays. If Sidney Rice isn't on the board, I wouldn't mind if we drafted Jarrett. And this is coming from a UCLA student to boot...

Problem is Chambers dropped even more passes than Hagan at 10 times the price. I do like Steve Smith and Gonzalez at the second tier of receivers. May even get one of these guys at our 2nd pick in the 2nd.

I would think more like bookers replacement down the road if we draft him.

I'd honestly prefer Craig Davis at #40, or hope Jason Hill is there at #60.

If he would actually fall to #40, then that would be a MAJOR STEAL!!:D
I believe that Jarret will be a much better reciever than Chris Chambers has been or ever will be.

This would be huge if we got Jarret this high! I would be happy if Miami traded down into the lower part of the first round and picked him! His hands our unbelievable and were missing a consistant third down reliable reciever I envision Jarret being in his rookie season!

He's got the size, but he's a little slow. Look at laurent Robinson in the sixth round, he's much faster, still has the size, and a better value IMO.
