Since the merger of the AFL and NFL, how many teams went to more than 3 superbowls in a 10 year span and who were they?

How many teams went to 3 or more consecutive superbowls in a 10 year span and who were they?

since 1970, these teams have gone to more than three SB in a 10 year span since merger (6)

Dallas, 1970-1978 (70,71,75,77,78)
Pittsburgh, 1974-1979 (74,75,78,79)
Washington 1982-1991 (82,83,87,91)
San Francisco 1981-1989 (81,84,88,89)
Buffalo 1990-1993 (90,91,92,93)
New England 1996-2004 (96,01,03,04)

I think that`s all of them. I wouldn`t consider Buffalo a dinasty (no titles) but you just said teams that WENT to the SB. the 90`s cowboys are considered a dinasty, but they only went to three SBs

as for the second question, only two teams have gone to three or more straight SBs and those are Miami, 1971-1973 and Buffalo, 1990-1993.

id say youve got it covered there for sure.

how is buffalo not a dynasty? no other team has done (or in all liklihood will do) what they did.

I find it odd that you consider the Pats 10 year dynasty from 96-04 instead of 01-07.

The Vikings went to four Super Bowls in the 70s.

69-70 vs. KC (Super Bowl IV)
73-74 vs. MIA (Super Bowl VIII)
74-75 vs. PIT (Super Bowl IX)
76-77 vs. OAK (Super Bowl XI)

Going to 3 SBs in a 10 year span is not a dynasty.

lol I posted that in january 2006, But you're right 01-07 makes a lot more sense today.

Don't see anyone mentioning the Dolphins.
72, lost to Dallas
73, beat the Vikings
74, beat the Redskins

Well essentially you've got the years right since the Super Bowl is played at the beginning of the new year, but we played the Redskins in Super Bowl VII and the Vikings in VIII.
