We are building a dynasty and it feels amazing.. we are missing a couple of pieces that come to mind.. here they are in no order..

MLB
FS
NT
WR1
OLB

Parcells is slowly but surely building a powerhouse team in Miami.

There is no doubt about that.

He is a fantastic team builder.

I can see this whole draft being used on mostly defensive players. I think we go after a WR in FA this year, some one like Malcom Floyd or Steve Breaston would be great on our team. I think Parcells would like to use this draft to really sure up the Linebacking core and maybe a NT project.

It feels good to have people actually knowing how to build a football team, after years of post-Shula insanity. I don't know about a dynasty, but the young core of good players are here for a future run.

because we are set on offense. to be really really critical of our offense this is all that we are missing.. WR1, Ricky Replacement in a year or two and maybe a pass catching TE but if we get a WR1, Fasano, Ginn, R&R, and Henne might breakout..

maybe not what the steelers or colts or NE has but certainly a great team year in and year out.. idk, i wus just looking at how young we are and how we are still competing and how in our 1st of a 4 year plan we made the playoffs and won our division.. i just get excited ;]

Now let's just hope this 2011 lockout doesn't happen and f@%# everything up for us...

The best thing is.. Our entire O-line and our young talented DE's on the D-line are all signed and sealed long term.

For years.

If Soliai pans out, as he has shown improvement this year, we are set on the lines for years.

our core is certainly young - but we have to win at least a SB before the term 'dynasty' starts getting thrown around.

reminds of that quote from wayne's world - 'i don't own *a* gun, let alone enough guns to necessitate an entire rack...'

I like where we're headed for sure. But I've been thru way too much of an emotional rollercoaster with this team the last decade to start using the "D" word.

But that's just me... :tumbleweed:

we are no where near a dynasty. our lbs are old safetys need replaced yes they bring the wood but if they could tackle we would have two more wins this season already. we have to find a wr1 because we won't be high enough in the draft to get a great young talent and unless ginn pulls his head out we will have to sign one which will eat cap space which means its going to be hard to resign ronnie and then henne (yes i know not this year) and if we bring in big name lbs or safeties it means less cap room. money aside yes we are on the right track and parcells is great, i just hope he doesn't leave too early

At least this post wasnt up the week of the pats their fans would of loved this

My God.. We win two games and all of a sudden, we're a dynasty.. You all need to eat a bowl of REALITY for breakfast..

Wait until we prove ourselves!!!

Until we win a couple of SBs in a three/four year span, we cant be considered anything other than a good team. We need to at least get to a conference championship before we can even be considered a great team. I will say that we are a handful of players away from being that great team, and another draft and offseason could get us to where we need to be. It is great to be a Miami football fan again though, seeing as how the Canes and Fins are both heading in the right direction!
