Who has more at stake in one of the most intriguing intra-conference games of the season?

Is it the visiting Chargers, who are just 3-3 despite being dominant most of the season? Or is the Eagles, a second-place 3-2 team dealing with a mountain of controversy?

It’s got to be Philadelphia. The Eagles need this win in the grand scheme of the Super Bowl. And, of course, the Super Bowl is only the grandest scheme in the league.

I think it's the Chargers. They can't let the Broncos get a huge lead on them in the division or they'll never catch up. As for the Eagles, I think they have a little more leeway getting behind the Redskins because they're just not as good as their record indicates.

I think both Philadephia and San Diego will definitely make playoffs and both have the poise and momentum to win their respective divisions even if they do fall behind. San Diego has done a good job bouncing back after an 0-2 start and I think Phily will start to bounce back, I think they'll win this Sunday.

Philly will make the playoffs but I don't think San Diego will make it. They still have to face the Chiefs twice, Indy, the Eagles today and Denver. They also face the Bills and Redskins on the road and they already have 3 losses. They will most likely need to go 12-4 to win the AFC West so they can only afford to lose one more game. I'm not saying they can't do it, but it's a very steep up hill battle. They will probably have to go 11-5 to make it as a Wildcard team in the AFC this season.

I think Philly will win today, so that'll make the Chargers 3 and 4. Losing their first 2 games is going to hurt them the most.
