It's not difficult to identify what player is penciled in to start next to
Ndamukong Suh come September if his health allows.
That player will likely be
Earl Mitchell considering the
Miami Dolphins guaranteed $3 million of his $4 million base salary by keeping Mitchell on the roster five days after the league's new year.
The contractual cause was put in the four-year, $16 million contract Mitchell signed nearly a year ago as one of General Manager Dennis Hickey's first signees.
Mitchell, who started 17 games for the
Texans before coming to Miami in 2014, contributed 33 tackles and two sacks last season.
