Dolphins-
What's good- loads of cap room, O-line vastly improved, most of their draft picks intact for first time in a long time, year 2 of Saban
What's bad- no QB in sight, aging Defense, awful secondary
What they should do- Hold onto draft picks, solve as many needs as possible through wise spending in free agency although one or two big ticket FA's needed. Have to solve the QB problem this offseason
Pats-
Whats good- Belichick, young players, drafts and system have given them depth and staying power. Ben Watson is a star, Vince Wilfork and Deion Branch are great.
What's bad- The division they play in. The injury situation and long term prospects of LB's and Rodney Harrison have to be concerns. I believe they have a few priority FA's and not a lot of cap room
What they should do- Show up in '06. Barring a miracle, they are again heavy favorite to win division
Bills
What's good: Lee Evans and Willis McGahee give them star power for the present and future. They get a chance to evaluate their QB of the future right now in JP Losman
What's bad: Where's the progress? this was supposed to be a playoff team this year. They also have a key FA in Nate Clement coming up this year.
What they should do: Let Nate go to Miami for big bucks. Seriously its hard to tell how far off this team is as they have had bad injuries yet some emerging players, especially on offense.
Jets
What's good- Let me get back to you on that. They'll have a really high pick they'll have a hard time affording.
What's bad- their coach, their aging and/or banged up skill players, their QB deal and their cap situation is really going to hurt them. They need a new O-line, a QB, another RB as well as receivers and tight ends. Can't cut Penny and Curtis' contract hurts them as well. Abraham is a free agent and thoughts of franchising him and trading him aren't realistic.
What they should do- Fire Herm and start over. Take a year or three off and play in the CFL until they resemble a pro team again.
