Please, no flaming in this topic. I don't care about how much you hate one player, these are all great athletes and players, including Terrell Owens.
These are the biggest names of the offseason. Some like Daunte, Terrell, and Edgerrin James have moved to new teams and are likely to change their franchise around with their incredible playmaking abilitiy. Others like Carson Palmer and Larry Johnson have brokethrough after a nice groom job, and are bound to improve as the years go by. And there are still some, who can make a difference like Steve McNair with the Ravens.
Edgerrin James is my favorite to win the MVP award. To me, I picture this just like the Nash vs Shaq MVP race in 2004-2005.
Daunte is placed in a team who just finished having a solid year, just like in the NBA when Shaq came in after the Heat had a solid year and Dwyane brokethrough as a rookie in the 2003-2004 playoffs.
As for Edge, he is in a team who has shown promise to have a high power offense with Bolden and Fitzgerald, but still had the running game missing, the running game sets everything up, which makes alot of difference in how the games are determined. Just like Nash who was placed in a team that already had Marion and Stoudamire, but they needed someone to set things up offensively.
Just a little ironic that huge stars like Daunte and Edge are trying to change their franchises around in their cities (Miami and Phoenix) just like Nash and Shaq did for those same cities.
