Early update from Wednesday's OTA

Damn i can't wait for the season to start...Sundays r no fun without football.
 
Jason Allen working with the starters is what is interesting to me. Yesterday Armando stated that Jason was not working with the starters during the earlier OTAs but today he is. This sounds to me like the coaching staff is trying different combinations to see which ones make up the best 11 players on offense and defense.
 
I expected McCown to be working with the first teamers...interesting. I imagine the QB position will see a lot of rotation.
 
Sucks to hear the news about Fasano and Mckinney. I could care less about Soliai for all I care they could cut his ***. Hill, Fasano and Steve might not be working cause all had surgeries last year.

The interesting thing for me was no mention of Channing Crowder.
 
I dont take to much stock in these OTAs

Everyone can look good with o contact and in shorts. I remember year after year so and so is looking great at OTAs and then come pad time you never hear his name again
 
The best news in there (aside from Beck getting alot of reps with the first team O), is that Ronnie, Yeremiah and Goodman are at least healthy enough to get some practice time in.
 
On the sun-sentinel blog they were saying that Crowder was hindered a little bit from his injury last year.

McKinney says he's about 75% - 80% right now but expect to be 100% by training camp. Hopefully he is correct and can compete for a starting job. Even if he doesn't win the starting job he will add much needed depth at the guard and center positions.

I wonder if crowder is trying to find his way back to London since he didnt know where London was prior to last years miami giants game.
 
Let the overreacting begin . . . . remember people . . . they are in shorts and shirts . . . . this is baby steps right now . . . which is why the whole JT thing is being blown out of proportion. Its still good to hear about the Fins though . . . but don't put to much into where who is playing where.
