1. Kevin White, WR, West Virginia
-
Mike Wallace had two failed seasons in Miami. He quit on the team a couple of times last year, and owner Stephen Ross indicated that the speedy receiver won't be back. If Wallace is released, the Dolphins will have to find a new No. 1 receiver.

2. Mario Edwards, DE/DT, Florida State
Jared Odrick played so well this year that he'll command lots of money in free agency this upcoming spring (go here for our NFL Free Agent Rankings. The Dolphins may have to find a new defensive tackle as a consequence.

3.Chris Hackett, S, TCU
Both Louis Delmas and Jimmy Wilson will be impending free agents this upcoming offseason, and all the Dolphins have waiting in the wings is 2014 fourth-rounder Walt Aikens. Miami will have to get younger and better at the safety position.

4. Clive Walford, TE, Miami
The Dolphins needed a tight end even with Charles Clay on the roster, as Clay is more an H-back. Clay happens to be a free agent now, so two intermediate targets are needed.

after white I don't know much about the rest right now. Thoughts?

That's the best mock I have seen yet. I would be thrilled with it.

My only gripe is that I feel like we really need a LB with one of the first 3 picks.

Mario Edwards is a guy that came into the year with a lot of hype and it was Eddie Goldman that played better, Not that Edwards was bad. For what Coyle wants in his DTs he's a fit.

Hackett is not bad

Walford is gonna rise for sure so 4 he may not be there.

Normally I hate Walter's drafts for us but it's solid

I like hacket but I don't think Coyle will care for any rookies in the secondary. Hes always done his best work with vets.

I don't think Walford is anything special, not sure he really upgrades anything, but you lose clay than he def makes sense.

No way Walford drops,to the 4th but if he does that would be excellent. Not in love with 2 lbs that early as we have a lot of needs.

Unrealistic, but I'd be A-OK with that draft. Unless he tests poorly, which I don't think will happen, I don't see Hackett making it to the 3rd. Same with Walford. Could end up being the top two players at their positions (FS specific for Hackett - still think Collins is the first S off the board).

Caveat: I'm not in favor of drafting White at 14, but if we land those other players, I'd be fine with it.
