After reading up more and more on McCoy, it's time we all give him a chance. He took Denver's offense and adapted his team from 1-4 to go 7-4 the rest of the season with a horrible quarterback. But he adapted to tebows strengths and made them successful. Reminds you of something? How about 2008 when our dolphins started 0-2 and busted out an offense called the wildcat versus new England and the rest is history.

Because we are hiring McCoy, an offensive coordinator, many on here are in an uproar. First fisher wasn't good enough, then Todd Bowles wouldn't be good, philbin has had some negative responses also. Sorry guys, Miami wasn't going to get a gruden or cowher.

So we get another coordinator. A young, confident guy who will come here with a lot more talent and bring some fire to this team. Sean Payton worked in dallas before he was hired in new Orleans. His teams ranked 21, 25 and 10 respectively on offense. He moved to new Orleans and has built a winning franchise. So based on history and no name coordinators becoming head coaches, this hire can make this a fun ride for years to come and could turn.

Let's go Miami

in before "i'm a grown *** man I will do what I want!"

and "Mike Mccoy kills puppies!"

just another jim zorn, cam cameron, scott linehan, brad childress, norv turner, guys with good offensive minds but cant be a head coach, cant command a lockeroom, this is a joke

How does anyone know how this will turn out? Negativity. Face facts, we aren't new Orleans, green bay or new England. Get over it. If you don't like what this team does, then pull for someone else. If McCoy turns this around, I will make sure to serve the crow cold to all of you

I really hope he does, i just dont get it, zimmer, billick, schottenheimer, winston moss, mike sherman, philbin, and we choose mike mccoy? come on now seriously

Everyone said Mike Singletary had command of his lockeroom. Look how that worked out.

singletary never had command of his lockeroom, that was a mess right from the beginning when he pulled his pants down, so idk what ure talking about

Lol. It's funny. When I bring up that billick adapted to his teams talents, it's crazy talk. But since McCoy is going to be coach, people will convince themselves of anything they want

A lot of "what if's".........lets just support the team and see what happens. Even if we had hired Cowher we still would have to sit and watch and see how it goes.

Looking forward to the draft and the start of next season already!!!

Please enlighten me to what Zimmer, Moss, Philbin, and even Sherman have done to warrant them as HC over McCoy.

You can take Billick and Schotty out with the trash.

This is the NFL, organizations don't have the luxury of "giving a head coach a chance."

That is a foolish statement. He was hired for that reason. I guess he messed up when he pulled his pants down. Maybe you do ot know what you are talking about??

I'll reserve judgement on McCoy or whoever is hired, but the above bolded part doesnt help your arguement.
