Is there any way that the "reason for editing" box can be made a required entry field upon editing?
I have been the victim of vicious attacks based on completely innocent editing I have done in the political forum, and one of the problems was that there was no notation of my editing generated by the system. I just figured out that the system makes the notation when you fill out the "reason for editing" box.
I fully support there being such notations because there is a plague of editing and allegations about editing that prompted TerryTate to add a rule to that forum. Making that field a required entry field before an edit is posted would fix the problem.
