Agreed. Getting thrown into a new position against a very strong D-line. He did a good job.
I thought he did pretty well for a guy that had zero reps at LT during camp and only started practicing at LT with Miami last week. Some of our Contrary Marys have said that Eich got manhandled.. I saw definite room for improvement, but a little like Circumstances often does, he held his own!
Yes…but it’s nice to know Eichenberg can play LT if injury strikes! Now bring AJ back in, move Eich to RT and send Jesse-Poo to the benchy-poo!
Left tackle is the position he knows best!Agreed. Getting thrown into a new position against a very strong D-line. He did a good job.
I’d like to see Jackson back at LT, Eichenberg at RT, Hunt at RG, Deiter at C, and Davis at LG. Let Kindley be the backup swing guard and Little the backup swing tackle.
At this point I would say Hunt is the best lineman on the team.eich is the best lineman on this team, by the end of the season Eichenberg will prove he's # 1
I don't disagree in general (as I said in another post, Hunt is probably our best lineman), but there is no way I want SK playing either tackle spot, so the Davis comp is moot.Kindley graded out as our highest OL versus the Pats on PFF (for whatever that's worth).
He is a much better player than Jesse Davis (with upside).
if Big Sol becomes what I think he can, and Hunty becomes what I think he can, we are set at both Guard spots for the next 8 seasons plus (barring injury).I don't disagree in general (as I said in anotger post, Hunt is probably our best lineman), but there is no way I want SK playing either tackle spot, so the Davis comp is moot.
Agree, Kindly is a monster that just needs coaching and experience.if Big Sol becomes what I think he can, and Hunty becomes what I think he can, we are set at both Guard spots for the next 8 seasons plus (barring injury).
when have we been able to say that?
that killed me, after Tua and Gesickster made such a clutch play for the firsty.Agree, Kindly is a monster that just needs coaching and experience.
Like coach him not to be eleventy seven yards downfield on a pass play.......lol
You can't say the man doesn't hustle. He's looking for the second level block on every play.that killed me, after Tua and Gesickster made such a clutch play for the firsty.
i wasn't concerned.You can't say the man doesn't hustle.
Totally correctable.
