Elway's 1st SB ring tainted?: Broncos lose 3rd Rnd Pick 4 SalaryCap tampering in 90's

It may be tainted but all people will remember is the SB wins and Elway in the HOF.
Shula was not known as a dirty tricks man.He played it straight and that was one of the reasons he was respected.On the other hand Yimmy..........................
 
The whole Denver team is known as dirty players. Just as the dynasty of the Niners, the Broncos were always being accused of chop blocking, no call holding, and the such. This just adds to that dirty feel to them. It doesnt matter tho, all anybody will remember is the two superbowls for elway. Not saying Elway wasnt a great player, he was, just he had a dirty front line along with the dirty Front Office.
 
Does this really shock you? From Kennedy's cheap shot on Chambers (and others) to the OL play to this, the Broncos have to be the dirtiest team in the NFL.

Nah, they are 2nd only to the Raiders. But the Raiders were proud of it, they never tried to hide it.
 
The Raiders really haven't been so dirty recently. I'll revise to say ...in the last 10 years.

It certainly isn't any coincidence that Skeletor learned his craft with the Raiders and took the show to the Broncos, though.

Elway is a whiny little biznatch! I hate how people neglect the fact that when he was drafted by the Colts he refused to play for them and forced them to trade him to Denver. Eli Manning caught so much flak for wanting to not be drafted by San Diego, Elway was the original spoiled college QB.
 
Speaking of Tainted . . .

I'd like to kick Elway in the taint!

Try going to one of the Faiders websites. They claim the NFL is so biased against them and they "cant let the refs get control of the game" because thats how they lose. Sad, really. :shakeno:

You cant take away Elways play on the field. Sorry, but tainted, not at all.
 
Denver got off easy! 950G and loss of next years 3rd rounder. I think that they should have lost all of next years draft. They won 2 super bowls playing with an unfair advantage over all of the other teams. What would have happened if they played by the rules and didn't cheat?
