EMS saved Jake Longs Life

and to think, SOME neighborhoods throw rocks and assault
those guys when they show up.

ALL OF US, not just jake long, owe a big debt of gratitude for the risks they
take EVERY DAY, with there OWN lives so the rest of us can have the quality
of life we do and in some cases, a life at all!!

when i see these sports contracts i just cringe, not because they are getting
money, but because the above mentioned face so much more peril everyday
and REALLY deserve the millions that are out there to be had.

GOD bless them all and i dearly hope ALL will tak a minute or so once in a while
and put yourself in there shoes, and there families shoes and get a true sense
of what these americans and ther agencys do to keep us safe, healthy and
best of all.....ALIVE!!

I came across this article today that i had no idea about.

In 2004 Jake Long was in a house fire and nearly died. The only reason i came across this is b/c i am a Firefighter/EMT and look at websites like this lol.

hey im not a fan of republicans or NRA either, but the guy is entitled to his own beliefs. im also not a fan of people making millions, when firefighters, soldiers, cops are only making 45-50K to save lives and protect society.


in times like this, be thankful for those who protect our society. be thankful for the lives saved, especially since that life was Jake Long's...be thankful, rather than get on people for their beliefs.

My point was there are thousands of other websites dedicated to those topics, and that he should take his opinions there.
 
Whoa! It's a good thing those EMTs insisted that he go to the hospital otherwise he might not be here today. It was also a classy move on Jake Long and Lloyd Carr's part to remember to thank those EMS personnel during the biggest day of Jake Long's career - you don't see that happen very often from a pro athlete.
