What do we really want as Dolphans?

truthfuly i want playoffs but realisticly we wont be going to the playoffs it just isnt in the cards this year. :boohoo:
 
I want to win every game from here on out.

Why you ask?

Along with sunny South Florida, a winning team is a huge bonus for free agents and winning will give us a better shot at some of them IMO

Also winning the rest of our games could mean playoffs, who knows.
 
When DW was still here and we were 4-12, well he wasn't here at the end, but he was the reason for the poor season. I wanted to lose every game so we could get a good QB and start over. With Saban, I want to keep winning and forget about where we draft. I would rather finish strong and miss the playoffs, then to finish poorly and get a high pick. We need to keep winning regardless of the season eneding results, IMO.
 
We can get an excellent player throughout the first round and beyond... All high draft picks means is you pay someone more $$$ and not necessarily get that much in return. Playoffs every year!
 
not really a legit question here.

OF COURSE if we REALY had a choice, the fans would want
playoffs!!

but, if your in the position we are, WAY, WAY behind and
having to hope that the other teams in the afc who are
WAY, WAY ahead of us suddenly start losing, the playoffs
are not a reality.

and lets face it, the team, although on a streak, is full of
holes and CAN be defeated. this team, should the absolute
MIRACLE take place and we get in, we would get imbarrased
by one of the TRUELLY good teams and a quick ousting.

so, what is better for THIS team at THIS time?

is it the ABSOLUTE dream that we make it and then get
shlacked? or is it better for the teams future to get
some high round, young talent in here?

one of the biggest problems the team has had over the
years is we win just enough to not go anywhere and
just enough to not have a good draft spot.

we need picks!!!! a short cinderella trip to the playoffs
just so you can watch and tell all your little pals that
the finz made the playoffs isnt worth missing on the
talent at this point.

hey, if this team was REALY good and had a REAL shot
to go far in the playoffs, no doubt, i would want playoffs.

but this team is what it is, iffy coaching, bad run game,
wr's who drop balls and are not consistant, a te who
can only block now, VERY succeptable corners.....

come on!!!! we need the draft pics.

I want us to win. If we keep winning and miss the playoffs we will carry it on into next season. High draft choice is great but one player will not be the difference with this team. Winning mentality,winning attitude, young talent and improvement will. High draft will get you young talent and potential improvement but not the rest.
 
Ask the Lions this question, ask the Cardinals this question, two teams who have high draft picks EVERY YEAR, and never see the playoffs.
I vote for playoffs.

We have a strong history of winning, and I like Dolphin history. One more thing, if we make the playoffs, even as the last seed, everyone starts over, win and you stay in. See Steelers 2006 SB winners
