We are lucky if we get a 6th and a box of doughnuts for him. I can't believe some of you. We are not getting Garrard or Shaub for him. Both teams said they would not even trade for a 1st.
Well if Miami got just a box of donuts for him, it would be better than just cutting him and getting nothing. Saban can just share the donuts among the team.

Getting something for Madison is not out of the question. A 3rd, or more realistically, a 4th or 5th rounder is a very realistic possibility. If a team has a need for a veteran CB and doesn't want to risk him getting out on the market, they will offer a pick OR said team loses opportunity to sign him because they are outbid. If you look at the success rate of a 4th or 5th rounder, it would not be unrealistic to have a team trade that for Madison's service for a few more seasons.
I don't think we get much for him either, but I don't think he's worth the high price tag we're paying for him. If we could get something for him, I'd be interested to see the offers.
Who knows? We might fleece someone. The Cardinals ripped the Patriots off with Duane Starks, who is the same age, was never as good as Madison, and right now isnt as good as Madison.
