Ok, I didn't get to see the game as I live in Atlanta, however I did follow it play by play on Cbs sportsline. The things I saw were way to many sacks.. (O-line is trying to jell) The short passes were what made the numbers good but I don't think it is C Pepps fault for bad play calling... Mularkey anyone?
As far as the Bright spots, while Losman is not an all pro he didn't even have much over a 100 yrds. MUCH better secondary today I thought. As for Cpepp, he is coming off a major injury, even though C Palmer had one very similar his O LINE has been there for 2 yrs, not a new one and NOT a new Offesssive Cord. So unless I am extremely mistaken people need to relax.

This team is built for a 19-20 game season not 3 or 4. That's right I said 19-20 games guys playoffs and superbowl. If not this year we the REAL FANS are here for the long haul.

the sacks weren't the O-line's fault.

Culpepper was tripping over his own feet, dropping the ball, or holding onto it way too long.

Maybe 1 or 2 sacks were on the o-line, the rest were because of C-pep!

If you watched the game -- as many of us did -- you would have a markedly different opinion. The team was not prepared to play today and stunk it up in all phases of the game. This looked like the team from 2004.

I also live in Atlanta, but I have Sunday Ticket and believe me when I say we couldn't do anything right. Ronnie was the only decent thing in the game. The only reason he got the yards he did was because he was so physical and worked hard for them. There was no blocking by the O line, and Pep had a horrible day. Another huge pass interference call and blocked punt today as well. I'll never bash our boys, but we sure didn't play like a team on the up and up. All I can hope for is a lot of gelling over the first part of the season and a strong finish like last season.

What about that ridiculous first fumble? I was in shock on that one. The stats don't tell the story of this game well.

If you had seen the game, you would know that at least 5 of the sacks were Culpepper's fault, as he just stood there in the pocket forever, unable to make a decision on where to throw the ball. Culpepper played so poorly that it is very difficult to get a read on the playcalling. Until the last drive of the game, he just stood there in the pocket, looking very tentative, afraid to throw downfield. I honestly thought his performance today was one of the worst Dolphin QB performances I have ever seen. He looked like he had never played a game in this offense.

Oh brother...another REAL fan telling us "unreal" fans how to behave. If the Dolphins want to go to the Super Bowl, they better get their tickets now.

This guy has like three threads that are exactly the same..
Why do you need to clutter our board with a bunch of the same threads?!?
