The "Epic in Miami" is on tv right now if there are others bored at home between classes, etc. I've never seen this whole game, just bits and pieces, but you might want to watch it. It's on either ESPN or ESPN2...

The game he is talking about is commonly referred to The Epic in Miami.
It was an OT playoff game ON 01.02.82 Chargers 41 @ Dolphins 38
Considered by many to be one of the greatest playoff games ever played

Looks like the 1982 Phins-Chargers playoff game....I watched this game when I was 15 years old and I still think it is the best NFL game I ever saw. We played really crappy for the first quarter or so but then made a great comeback. We had numerous chances to win it at the end and blew it. I cried my eyes out when we lost. :boohoo:

Great game, with a sad ending for Dolphin fans.
I remember it well.
The only game that hurt me more to watch was the 1974 playoff game with the Raiders that ended our dynasty.....28-26 on that final play of the game when Stabler was being sacked and got that pass off that went between the two Dolphins in the endzone.

I'm problably alone here but any game that we lose, to me, sucks.
I don't care what the score or situation was.
When I saw this game as a kid I didn't think, "WOW, what a great football game!"
All I thought was how this game sucked because we lost and how we'll come back next year.
Sure it had some awesome plays, but in the end we lose. :fire:
