I dont think he's the best pass rusher in the NFL. He's one of the best right now, and he's quite arguably the best defensive player in the NFL but he's not the pure pass rusher he was circa 2002.

I think Jason Taylor has finally wound up in the wrong system too late. Saban was right in saying if he was a 3-4 player, he'd be a first ballot HOFer no question.
 
I don't know if those are ranked in order but if they are he is #2 right behind Shawn Merriman
 
He has 66.5 sacks in the past 5 years, can you think of anyone with more?
 
I think that list was for players not who are not typical defensive ends. All safties and linebackers. He even made a note "the only reason JT is on the list"

I guess normal down pass rushers aren't technically blitzing right?

Good point, that also explains why Lewis is on the list. It doesn't necessarily go by how many sacks a person has but rather when they blitz, how often they get to the QB.
 
More like number one...How da hell; sum1 taking steroids ended up on that list in first place?

Actually I can, I'd appreciate it if you did some research before posting....

....I had 76.5 in 5 years...Geez go check it up, I'm all over google.

Best pass rusher of his generation. Best DE at present and most probably since he has been in the league or at least top 3. Enough said....
