Look nobody wants to see all our players succeed, but this guy has been struggling since OTAs. I mean all we kept hearing from OTAs was him getting burned and now the guy continues to struggle. I know its only day 2, but if Green continues to struggle what do you guys suggest.

The Dolphins have been known to inquire about Mike Mkenzie and this is what Rosenhaus said about Mckenzie today:

The player rep for free agent CB Mike McKenzie revealed on Twitter that his client recently tried out for the Seahawks.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus claims McKenzie's knee is fully healthy and expects the 33-year-old to sign with a team "any day now." Seattle doesn't seem to be a likely destination, however, after adding Travis Fisher on Sunday.

Miami also inquired about Fisher who signed on Sunday. Do you see Miami addressing the CB position is Green ineffective. I think so.

How much worse than last year could the secondary be if we just threw Davis or Smith out there day one? Gotta get experience some time....

Probably not. They want Vontae or Sean Smith to win the job anyway.

I think Green might get the Axe and Miami might bring a Mckenzie or maybe a player who is released. I just dont see this guy sticking with all his struggles. Yesterday he was schooled by Patrick Turner who is a rookie.

being way too impatient with Green. Jason Allen has struggled for 4 years and we still have him.

Dont get me started on Jason Allen, the only reason he has stuck is cause of his ST play. I think Nathan Jones was alot better than him yesterday and I cannot wait to he is gone

I agree with Dlockz. If I recall we gave Grenn a decent sized contract. Thats an awful lot of money to cut.

He dropped one ball in individual drills, guys. There is a LONG way to go.

Im not killing the guy I want him to succeed, but he has been struggling since OTAs. Yesterday he struggled again and today he is having a bad day at practice. BTW it was two passes he dropped back to back.

Well were breating down Greens neck as if he was brought in to save our secondary..IMO he wasnt brought in here to even start..so this doesnt bother me

Until full contact happens...theses no reason to cut him. Maybe he's a poor practice player but a real gamer?

I get what you're saying, I'm just pointing out that there are about 40 more practices for him to redeem himself. And even if he doesnt, Sparano and company would be tickled pink if Vontae or Sean stole the starting job anyway.
