Eric Green has given up 3 long touchdown passes in the past 3 practices. That was the knock on him in Arizona (getting beat deep too often). If he keeps playing that way he'll be lucky to make the team.

IMO he was a terrible signing to begin with, but our hand was forced due to need of depth and the ridiculous money other teams overpaid for "better" FA CBs.

I dont get phased much by an OTA in shorts. being excited or dejected by play in this will cause dementia

The deal was only like a two year deal. So, if he continues to struggle it wouldn't be that much of a hit if Miami cuts him. That being said, it's still June. It's early.

Yes but he still needs to show he can cover a receiver. It's a good thing we drafted Vontae Davis and Sean Smith. Remember, Eric Green was beaten out by a rookie in Arizona and he has never been anything special in the NFL to begin with so for us to expect him to suddenly blossom in Miami is a big stretch

This could be a golden opportunity for a guy like Jason Allen imo. If Green continues to struggle then Jason Allen could move up the ladder with a good camp.

1- it's only OTAs

2- there's no paddings on

3- following point 2, eric green is a physical corner, so when the pads are out, he's bound to struggle, the "rules" of the OTAs don't play to the advantage of any physical corner

Jason Allen is a goner. You dont pay that kind of money to at best your 4th best corner

Thats a good point..............But didnt he had some kind of injury in arizona.............................the he gets replaced by someone who does the job and plays well....Very hard to get your job back...

Im so glad we drafted davis and smith.....I wonder how jason allen is doing?????

True but whether you're in shorts or a miniskirt you still need to show you can cover a receiver deep

Well the OTA report from this morning said that Jason Allen made a heck of a play on a pass intended for Anthony Armstrong. Allen went up high and fought for the ball and came down with it

If Jason Allen is not a starter there is not reason to keep him and ay his contract
