ESPN's Todd McShay ranks UCLA LB Eric Kendricks as the No. 4 available player heading into Day 2.
"He is the best coverage linebacker in this draft. He lacks ideal size and power for the position in run defense, but he makes up for it with very good overall range and his quick diagnosis of plays," McShay wrote. "He's a playmaker against both the run and the pass." As you know, we rank Kendricks as the best prospect on the board at the moment. In an updated Day 2 mock draft, CBS Sports' Dane Brugler slots Kendricks to the Miami Dolphins at No. 47.

If we want him we better trade up for him, would love to be wrong and have him reach us, but just dont see it. We dont have alot to trade up with either.

I would dish to move up for him but wouldn't mind Perryman either...

Kendricks or Perriman would be HUGE
Collins or Darby would be nice as well.

Absolutely we should try to trade up for the guy we really want. But then again, if we assume one falls to us, a fourth rounder could turn into Duke Johnson potentially. Might make sense to stay put. Unless you absolutely love one if them

I would seriously consider trying to move up. If it takes one of the 5th round picks no problem. The question is would that be enough? Might have to part with the 4. The 3rd is basically Stills (would have had to consider another WR if not for him anyway). If the choose is get the player we really want round 2 and part with a 4 or settle for a player round 2 to keep the 4 I know what I would do.

Another option would be to possibly move down in the second and pick up a third, but would probably be down near bottom of second round. Like the first option better.

We're not under pressure to trade up as there are a few quality mike's left on the board......and there are several elite talent players at other positions.

Would love Kendricks but **** that. There are 3 starting caliber ILB (Kendricks, Perryman, Darby) left and I'm pretty confident at least one falls to us. We need to add a second pick tonight without moving down, IMO. Give the 4th and whatever else a team wants. Would love to land Perryman AND Marpet. We would be set.

True there are several other quality players left at other positions but a team like GB could try and move up and get one SF I am assuming takes another. Will have to see how it goes, if we get a little luck like last night I will be thrilled but I am just not counting on it.

I really want Kendricks over the others.

So it comes down to what kind of MIKE you want. Do you want a light fast rangey guy or do you want a heavy hitting instinctual guy?

With that line i'd come with the Boom. Perryman all day.
