Does anybody else think that trading a 4th or 5th rd pick for Moulds would be a great idea (apparantly that's the compensation Houston is going to give them)?

I think Moulds is still a good #1 and a great #2 WR. Chambers, Moulds, Booker, Welker would make for a real nasty core of WR's.

Thoughts?

moulds is a texan. they're working out the contract then it will be announced.

I think the guy still had something like 850 yards last year. as a number 2! I'd take him if he'll come down from that 10 million he's supposed to earn this year.

Who was the #1?, and yeah he is gonna be ex*****ive... and yeah, my previous comment..
He can definately play though...

I don't think we need wr. I like Moulds but we have Ronnie, Randy, Chris, Marty, our fb, Welker and possibly Ricky in the passing game. We need money and picks for the wellbeing of our future franchise. Trust me if one or two of our wr's goes down we will be fine because those other guys can be very effective in the passing game and I think alot of people forget that.

He is coming down from his current price...last I heard the Texans had a 4 yr, 14 million dollar deal which sounds about right for a player of his caliber. Like a previous poster said, he still had nearly 1000 yards despite playing as a #2 WR (1.5 actually with him and Lee Evans taking turns) and playing with Lostman and Howcome. I'm sure working with Culpepper he could go off for 1000 yards again and help open things up for Chambers.
