i think we needed him in todays game when we were on the one when we didnt run it and ran the whole time we could have thrown it up to him or on the last play of the game we could have thrown it up to him and maybe had 2 more touchdowns but other then that i thought we did very good it that game a big inprovment from last season also i think Ronnie Needs to be starting over Ricky IMO
 
In theory Wilford should be able to go up and catch a fade in the endzone.

In practice, he can't. simple as that.
 
I dont know. I think we should have him available for red zone chances and I wonder if the braintrust wishes they had now. As far as how bad hes been in practice I understand he's been rough but if you coulda told me that not only would David Martin be on any NFL team this year ,he would make the Fins and have a nice game CATCHING the football I'd have booked you a padded room. I've seen Wilford have some nice games as a Jag and cant believe hes lost it overnight.:shakeno:
 
i just posted the same thing lol Wilford better than Bess London IMO
 
Wilford has at least produced in the NFL. It was inexcusable that he was inactive today, especially in favor of someone like London who is still learning the playbook and probably didn't see the field today.

the reason London was active was because he was working on special teams today

Yes, Wilford would have been a nice option to throw it up to at the end. Big target, physical, at least a shot to catch it. Unfortunately, he pretty well sucked this offseason and is lucky to be on the team.
 
listen, to all these wilford threads.. what did wilford do during practice and preseaosn to warrant he was the guy you want to throw a fade route to for the winning td?

Nothing.. he did nothing to prove he would have caught any pass thrown to him

the reason i am Meantioning it is because he is 6-4 and Darrelle Revis is 5-11 if Wilford cant jump over that and make a catch he shouldnt even be in the NFL

maybe he shouldnt be in the NFL then. Id ratrher have us throw that ball to Hagan than Wilford. Wilford dropped everything in TC, there is nothing that would have told me he was capable of catching a fade man on man under pressure.

Wilford wouldnt have helped us. We lost due to 2 horrible no calls, and the inability to run the ball
 
I don't care what he did in practice and preseason. He was brought in for what he did in the game at Jacsonville, and I would want him on the feild just for that
 
hagan should have got more playing time today, I hope they both look good in practice this week

so you want a player who drops passes left and right to start? Why not start Jayson Foster.. we should start Beck, maybe trade for cleo lemon. Obviously what he did in Jax has not translated to Miami yet
 
agreed that's why we r paying him the big money use Wilford not ginn on fades
 
We are paying him too much to be nothing! I do feel that but, I trust this staff and we didn't see him today for a reason.
