Boomer calls in to DC101 every week to talk football and this morning they were talking about McNabb's injury. He was asked how much the injury would affect him next season. Boomer says "Depends how he approaches it, whether he takes things seriously and really works hard like Carson Palmer did or he's lazy and slacks off like Daunte Culpepper did."


He did go on to praise Jason Taylor and pick us to win tomorrow. :D
 
I think he worked his butt off but i dont think he will be the same we have added another problem to our team.
 
culpepper did work hard but he wasnt the same in those first few games. He needs to either regain his mobility or learn how to QB without it.


Or leave!
 
Culpepper himself said once the season started he slipped up on his rehab.
Maybe that's what Boomer is talking about?

Boomer is a overblown Gasbag who wishes he was Dan Marino.Watch him on cbs and i swear he has the hots for Dan LMAO! I think he sucked when he played and blows even more as narator.Boomer geeze even his nickname is to cover up the inner nerd running rampant through the weak lil wimp.His mama knew he was a nerd at birth and named him Norman LMAO!!!!!!!!!:sidelol:

idk i think culpepper could b fine only if he could read a defense but since he cant , thats why he didnt do much ..... idk if its much lazyness
 
That was a horrible comment by Boomer Esiason. I can't believe he said something like that without being close enough to the situation to know.
 
livacious statement by esiason...culpepper's injury takes two years to recover from...palmers was a only a year....daunte's injury is closer to the one mcgahee suffered
 
In every report I ever read during the off-season, there was not one that stated Culpepper wasn't making an incredible recovery due to his hard rehab work. I can't beleive Boomer when he's the only one out there making these statements....

I think DC worked his tail off, maybe even too hard at times. He wasn't slacking at all in my opinion, and if he were, he would have never even made it back on the practice field let along being named the opening day starter....

I commend DC for his hard work, and I hope this time off will be what he needs in order to make a full recovery. I'd like to think he could rebound once his knee heals up....

Perhaps his statements were consimated from a "slight" bias and circumstances for the two guys?
 
How would Boomer know what DC did? He wasnt in Florida watching him recover. He has no idea just like the rest of us
