If they sign Davey, they are just getting more of the same. I'd rather see Couch. If his injuries are healed I think he deserves a second chance with a new system. He wasn't the 1st overall pick for nothing.
Trent Dilfer was a high pick for the Bucs and has had some success with the Ravens and Seahawks.
People keep bringing up Ryan Leaf because he was a bust ,however, his problems I think were a lack of maturity and being mentally weak. He had all the physical tools.
Couch does not seem immature, on the contrary, he seems well grounded and just wants an opportunity.

I'd cut Gus. He and AJ have shown the same level of ability. Atleast AJ doesn't whine about playing time.

I think thats because he's content to sit on the sidelines and earn a paycheck without taking the lumps.

i just wish for once they would give sage a shot at it, so we could end all of this speculation. i mean cmon gus is not that much better.

You know there's a reason Sage was known as the preseason QB in Washington. Because he always looked great in preseason vs 3rd stringers, and below average during any other time.
