Wow i think i just heard on espn that saban said if c-pep fumbles in todays game he will throw in joey because he does not want this season to slip. Also said saban told c-pep to stop holding on to the ball so long because he is not the old c-pep .Anyone know if this is true ??????? or is it bull talk from espn ???

I thought you said "You just heard this on ESPN" ????

It was on ESPN

They said if Daunte Culpepper continues to struggle Nick Saban may look towards Joey Harrington because while Culpepper seems physically ok with his knee injury, the mental aspect of his game is down with his recent performances.

Nowhere did it say that "if Culpepper fumbles Joey will be thrown in because Saban doesn't want to season to slip".

Maybe if he fumbled 7 times.

IF you know what he said why not post it .I did say if anyone heard it or i was wrong... :shakeno:

What was actually said? Because I could not see Saban saying that

I heard what you heard, Alex. It is VERY premature to even think about putting in Joey.

fumbled in the sense of mistakes, not the actual act of fumbling.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Either way, i think they're over reacting. The leash on Culpepper is not that short. At least it shouldn't be.

Thats what i thought i never heard saban say anything..except that no one is safe bunch of bs worked me all up

Well I hope it is true. If Daunte stinks up the place again they need to put in Joey Harrington in before the game is out of reach! This is a game we have to win. I am tired of watching C-PeP stink up the place.

Dont know how Culpepper could screw up this game. Just give it to Ronnie 30 times and Suggs 15 times....we win easily. Tennessee is just a mess.
