..isn't ready to go by training camp. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/index?&lpos=globalnav&lid=gn_NFL_NFL

Go to the bottom of the page on that link and click on the ESPN motion part about Daunte. It has that picture of him in the Vikings uniform with the Dolphins watermark in the background.

Michael Smith says he spoke to a Dolphins official and Daunte is running, throwing, rolling out and they would be shocked if he isn't ready to go for training camp. This is all great news!

Yup loving all the good news with daunte's injury and gelling with the offense at the moment. Can't wait for the seaon

im a very optimistic person but i still cant fathom how he'll be ready by training camp....he had surgery in late oct.....and he'll be ready by july????

i really do hope so.....i just hope he doesnt rush back too quickly

It looks as though some of this news is old (Harrington for example) but I have not seen the video. Thanks for the post.
It is good to see Daunte in anything aqua beyond the avatars on this site.
He looks pretty mobile, but I hope they do not rush him back just to have him on the field. I thought that was why we were getting Harrington.
ESPN.....just slightly behind their time.

Why can't you "fathom" DC being ready if that's what the team is expecting? Modern medicine is always advancing. When you have a guy that is dedicated to his rehab and backed by the best doctors money can buy things get done. Culpepper is already dropping back, throwing, and rollling out with 3 months to go. Don't you think that Saban will make the right call and he won't rush him back too early? If you're so optimistic, then try being optimistic for once.

Well, McGahee said he would have been ready to play in his first year less than a year after his surgery, with pretty much the same injury. However, the Bills played it safe and put him on IR.

With Daunte he has the luxury of playing a less demanding position, and he can play with a brace that even though it limits him from full mobilty likely won't hinder his play much.

him and ronnie were at the heat game this week together becoming friend and all
