DIVISION FINISH: 3 I'm not saying the Dolphins are going to take a huge stumble from their wonderful 2008 season, but this is a tough division and I think the Dolphins are going to have a hard time getting back into the playoffs. But they could still be a nine- or 10-win team.

If our passing game which was ranked 10th in the nfl in yardage, chad was 2nd in the nfl in QB rating is listless (meaning lacking energy or zest) then what would a tema rated 20th be?
 
So anyone who predicts Miami will finish in 3rd is a moron? Maimi could finish anywhere from 1(if Brady goes down again) to 4. There is not much seperation btw teams 2-4 and to act like it's an insult to be picked 2nd is funny.

really? as if Miami hasn't had more than their share of busts. I guess I'll say Chad henne, John Beck, ted Ginn, Jason Allen, Derek Hagan, Manuel Wright, Matt Roth, ...
 
Overall I didn't think that it was a bad breakdown guys, especially for ESPN. No one except for a Dolfan is gonna pick us to win the Division over the Pats.
 
I don't know that any particular prediction has any more value than any other, because nobody really knows. Nobody predicted our 1-15 season either, but it happened.

I really think the win total could vary pretty wildly from 7-9 to 10-6. I think it's not so much the win total as where we will place, as the rest of the division has pretty much an identical schedule. I think we are the 2nd best team in the division right now, and, think that no matter what the win total, we will place 2nd and miss the playoffs, as i do not think the wildcards will come out of the AFC East.

Is it possible we could take the division? Sure. I don't think its unreasonable to think that one of the oldest teams in the NFL might break down and lose some critical parts which could derail their season. The Jets season will depend on Sanchez, which i personally think is a bad thing for them...But who knows?

The Bills are terrible, IMO. All kinds of holes on the O Line....TO who, though has a record of being on his best behavior in his first year with his various teams may be senseing his NFL mortality and blow a fuse with Trent Edwards, who, IIRC is dead even on TD/INT ratio.

1-NE
2-MIA
3-NYJ
4-BUF
