ESPN includes Brown in discussion of elite backs

WOW!! The most dangerous back in the NFL?
No other running back with at least 50 carries has a higher percentage of first-down runs than Brown.

He's the most dangerous runner in the NFL.

he definitely deserves to be included in the discussion. It's way to early to crown him for anything, but he deserves to be included.

Apart from being such a high character guy and real gamer, no one can deny that when healthy, Ronnie has ALWAYS produced. The only issue with him whatsoever is the fact that I had to put "when healthy" in the prior sentence. The unfortunate thing is that he's had some "unlucky" injuries, here's to hoping he stays healthy and proves to the league that he's among the best.

2nd down and 3 or 3rd and 3 or shorter, handing the ball to Ronnie (via standard formation or Wildcat) has been an automatic first down.

Yep, which makes me wonder why the coaches couldn't trust him to pick up the first down on 4th and an INCH last Sunday....:shakeno:

These are the same guys that we deride as idiots, right? I'm just checking to see if thier opinion is gospel now is all ;)

Yes... and I still dont take any creedence in that list... I formed my own opinion long before EScrapPN came out with this. My list already included, Brown, Portis, Turner, and Peterson, through Gore on that list...
