Sal just reported that he believes the 9ers will wait till they are on the clock on draft day before we know their pick. Also stated that he spoke with the agent of Edwards and the agent said that it was his opinion that the 9ers would not draft and sign Edwards . The agent told Sal it was remote to be picked by the 9ers after talking to the cap guy with the 9 ers.

I pretty much assume none of the top 5 teams are going to show their hand before they are on the clock - most want to trade one way or the other. Mock drafts are pretty much useless for the first 5 picks or so IMO. The first picks are just to unpredictable particularly in this draft.

ESPN guys on Draft show just said they believe that the 9ers will play the "We want Edwards" game till they are on the clock ,but that everyone believes they will take a QB in the end. The 9ers can,t force a trade if no one believes they will take Edwards.

It was funny too, they had Fat Hank on and because Saban has the Phins on info lock down there was only what we already know to report. With Saban all ESPN needs is the fax machine from the front office. There is nothing to report unless Saban says it first.
