Did anyone else see this? Tom Jackson and Mark Schlerth talk about the treatment of Daunte. Tom Jackson said it was basically how the NFL system works, but Mr Soap Opera Mark Schlerth said it was disgusting how the Dolphins treated Daunte. They then went on to say that without question any team should take and be confident with Cpep right now.

Ok, so here we go again. Another media outlet bashing the Fins. What did we do so wrong here with Daunte? I think for a 1-3 record and all the millions the guy made, he was treated pretty darn well. The more and more i watch ESPN the less i like it. I cant stand that Denver Homer schlerth always acting like hes mr knowitall football guy!

The one thing about this whole thing that bothers me is that we did this the day before the hearing, so to me we were very worried we would lose. I hope to get clarification from the team.

I saw it. Schlerth was ripping the Dolphins organization saying it was classless the way they treated Daunte. These guys have to understand this is big business and you sometimes have to do whats right for the organization and not the individual players.

Ah, who cares what ESPN says man? Why do so many fans on here get so bent out of shape over this ****?

Culpepper was lining up his teammates to testify against the Dolphins. This was a potential disaster waiting to happen with camp two weeks away. We finally came to our senses and figured out that the lousy 6th round pick we were trying to get for him wasn't worth it. We should've released Culpepper the day we traded for Green.

So Schlereth is a orthopedic doctor now, what did he sleep at a Holiday Inn last night?

Winning makes everything right.

Nothing new there. He was defending a fellow player. They normally side with the players when something like this takes place. Really shows you their anti bias when things like this happen.

Schlereth is an offensive linemen. He is a meathead and quite frankly I am surprised he has a job as an analyst. He is better than Salisbury, but that isn't saying much in my opinion.

Just ignore him. In fac,t ignore that entire network when it comes to opinions about sports. They really buy into the news channel type of broadcasting. Have somebody take either side of the issue and then scream louder than the other guy in order to win and sound more credible.

It wouldn't surprise me if some of the other teams/owners had been having a quiet word in W Huizenga's ear. DC's case had some merits and the rest of the owners wouldn't want the case to set a precedent for the rest of the league if it went the wrong way for the 'phins.

Am I missing something isn't an analyst suppose to be an expert. You guys wine more than my six year old daughter. The only thing that matters is what we do on the football field.

Actually I think you called it closer to the truth than anyone has or will...

because dummies ( ie: people who dont really know what they think they know) let ESPN decide what is sports news, and whats not. ive hated espn for alonnnng time, and i wish their was something, anything that cvould compete...but until then, we(the educated) will have to read through all their drama BS to get the news..not the opinion of abuinch of morons on amicrophone..

Dude, two words: NFL Network. That's all you need for football coverage. Now that NFL Primetime as we used to know it is gone, I NEVER watch ESPN for football coverage anymore. NFL Network blows it away in all categories. MUCH more educated and un-biased opinion on there, not to mention more intelligent discussion. Screw ESPN. If you don't have NFL Network, you should find a way to get it, because you don't know what you're missing.

Ohhhh well excuse me, sorry for whining.....This is a message board, i was simply tickling some discussion about the reaction around the league regarding DC.

If you dont like my whining, why were you so inclined to reply. You followed up my whine with a whine of your own.

I guess that makes you just as bad.
