It appears that Miami and San Francisco, which is scheduled to bring Brooks to the Bay Area next week for a one-on-one session, are the teams most interested in him. Although he possesses first-round physical skills, Brooks, clearly the top prospect in the supplemental draft at this point, is more likely to be chosen in the middle rounds. If that's the case, the Dolphins, prone to take a few chances on players -- as was the case when they signed former Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick last month as an undrafted free agent -- could be the club that chooses Brooks.

This guy has a lot of potential. Hopefully he'll be able to help some right away (if we get him). Our OLB situation is a little worrisome right now.

Want to see us get him, but not for more than a 3rd round supplemental. Too many other issues with this kid.

In Saban We Trust!

He is a carbon copy of LaVar, with the attitude problems and injury proned as well, IMO the Bengals still need 1 more OLB and will have a sick core with Pollack, Thurman and Brooks, besides they love criminals and their HC is responsible for LAs best seasons, I guess he is drooling all over Brooks, besides their GM had dinner with Brooks, and their LBs coach ran the workout, I mean what else you need to know to understand where Brooks is going? they are taking him with their 3rd and SF, Miami and NYG will only go as far as a 4th.

What is the supplemental draft.

You are joking arent you? Its a special draft for guys who didnt declare on time for the regular draft, like Manny Wright last year, the draft picks you use in this count against next years draft.

In the 2005 supplemental draft, the Miami Dolphins used a fifth-round selection on Manuel Wright, a talented but habitually underachieving defensive tackle from Southern California. For their investment, the Dolphins got an out-of-shape and immature defender, a guy who played in only three games and recorded four tackles and who reported back to work this spring in dubious condition.

:shakeno:

The jury is still out on Manny. Did ESPN really expect a 5th rounder in the supplemental draft to make an immediate impact? And he actually played well in the little time he got, I believe registerring two sacks.
