If this has been posted, my apologies.

How can B.S.PN write that the bolts are #5, we beat their butt in 08, The Bears are #11, 11???, and the Seahawks, yes the 04-12 Seahawks are #15, ranked one position ahead of us??

Oh, and if I had a nickel for every time I heard "Tom Brady" on that channel, I could buy the Patriots!

No one is realizing that Jason "Brady Killer" Taylor is back for two more games against the Patsies.

It's not a thing or noun. It's a verb or "Action Word." LOL

As in, "The Patriots could do nothing to stop the Zach attach"

Ha-ha!

"This just in, Tom Brady knocks up another Supermodel. Future Hall of Famer to be born in 9 months."

these rankings are so bad they say seattle will be #1 by week 3 lool espn..what do you expect

I expect decent, objective, professional journalism. You know, like how the media covers obama...

The media believes we won the division because of low injury rate, a weak schedule, the absence of Brady, the wildcat, and lucky breaks with turn overs. They take a look at our roster, and they do not see the stars. We need to go at least 2-1 over these first three games to get some respect.

The seahawks are a real surprise. I am not sure what the pundits see in the 'hawks.

So a 4-12 team is ahead of us. It sounds like ESPN is trying act like they dont pay attention to stats and that they actually scout teams, but we all know its a sham. Nice try though.

we should be at worse 12, we were an 11-5 division champs last year. we should be ahead of minn, chicago, seattle, gb so minimum 11

Talent-wise, I think SD is a top 5 team. Their coach drops them damn near out of the top 10-15. Atlanta and Seattle are rated too high too.

Other than that, I can't really argue with the rankings.

Even the Pack, who went 6-10 in 08, are at #12??? C'mon....

America loves an underdog, so do I.

i love the fact we get no respect its just incredible, like i remember in 06 for example the saints go 10-6 and make the nfc championship, and that year the nfc was so bad that the saints at 10-6 were 2nd seed which is downright pathetic, and they got talked about so much, and tons of respect and all that crap, and yet we have the best single season turnaround and win the division at 11-5 in a good confrence, and yet we get absolutley no respect. and for those ppl that say oh tom brady was hurt thats y, then y didnt a team like the jets whose payroll was 140 million plus win the division, or the bills. i have a feeling we can be like 5-0 going into our bye week and ppl would come up with ridiculious excuses as to y we have that record. week 1 we only beat the falcons bc matt ryan is under the weather ,week 2 we only beat the colts bc the colts still havent adjusted to their new head coach yet, week 3 we beat the chargers bc tomlinson is wahsed up and gates toe, week 4 we beat buffalo because lynch is rusty coming off his suspension, week 5 we beat the jets bc sanchez is a rookie adjusting to the nfl. now i no i may be getting ahead of myself but im just trying my best to come up with the excuses ppl would try to find for each of those games if we won them. bottom line is lets prove every person wrong and raise the lambordi trophy at landshark stadium on feb 7th 2010. lets go fins baby.

Just a quick point to what is being posted in this thread... I read these threads all of the time and never post... the rankings are poor, but by appearances not "real" far off... the Brady thing... do we like him? no... but that is because he is a Patsy... but network sports, especially ESPN, is driven by star power... most recognizable NFL players are QBs, and Brady already has to be considered one of the best who has ever played... Why all of the surprise that they endlessly discuss him?
