Anyone tired of these yet? I'm surprised they have us at 22, I was expecting lower.

Paraphrase since I don't think I can quote from insider articles?

Says bell is one of the most underrated players in the NFL, with a knack for being around the ball and a good run blocker. Hill is versatile, J.Allen has tremendous ability to be either safety or corner, just needs confidence. W.Allen and Goodman, and Daniels are a good group to compete in the AFC East, with Allen being tough, aggressive with speed and quickness, and Goodman a solid back with durabilit concerns.

Woo! we're 22. Heh. It's kind of sad we're excited about that but it is a positive ranking. I couldnt agree more about Bell. We really need to lock him up longterm before his asking price skyrockets.

These rankings are as irrelevant as ever, but I think it's odd they mention the secondary gives us a chance to compete in the AFC East when it seems unlikely that our corners have any chance of keeping up with the Patsies new receiving corp or Lee Evans for that matter.

I think if Goodman is healthy he will have a great year. I am seeing 6 picks this year from him. I know those are lofty numbers, but he has very tight coverage and teams should throw the ball against us this year more than normal.

I'm kind of disappointed, they said last night that our backfield was 9th or 10th last year in yards allowed and we are only 22nd. I know that there are a lot of people that think our defensive backfield is suspect, but I think they are going to be better than last year with some experience under their belt, and who knows how good they could be if Jason Allen hones in his talent.

all we need is a great pass rush and the corners will be fine, but then again if we get no pressure (which on paper looks impossible) we're screwed.

I think with our D-Line and LBs getting pressure on the QBs, that will help out our secondary.

We're going to see a lot more interceptions this season with the addition of Porter.
There is going to be a lot of pressure up front, and in turn we're going to see a lot
more forced passes.

9th or 10 last year but that is due to an extraordinary front 7 which just got better. This is a ranking on just the personnel, which isn't the best.

Your defensive backs are the weakest part of your team. IMO, they should be dead last in the NFL.

That said, you guys have a great front 7 and that neutralize their suckiness to some extent.

Dead last in the NFL? I don't think so. Unless our front seven is the best to have ever played (close though ) our secondary is "good enough" to place fifth overall last year in overall pass defense.

ahead of your bills I might add.

No i dont think the Dolphins secondary is better then the Bills. I would take Donte Whitner over any safety we have any day.

Buffalo has a great young secondary in the making as mush as I hate to say. Last year's draft when they took Whitner, Youboty, and Simpson I was really bummed. Didn't they get Wendling this year too?

Whitner cannot hold Jason Allen's jock. Allen was learning a much more complicated defense and had prop bow caliber type guys keeping him on the bench. Cmon, Allen runs a 4.3 forty he must be good. these are not my thoughts just saving some homer the time.
