John Clayton made a top 25 rookie impact list, and Jake Long was rated above Ryan Clady.

Most of us knew this already, but after playing the Broncos they talked about Clady like he was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Also, Langford made the list.

That's awesome. I agree with the Long over Clady and they mention why and it was something i didn't think of Jake goes one on one with elite pass rushers while Clady is in a zone system both guys seem to be the perfect fit for their team though.

As for Langford i have been singing his praises since the preseason for one he is REPIN CENTRAL VA :woot: I do not agree with the statement though he is the starter because he is the best player and has done a GREAT job so far and is gonna be scary good sooner than later get a pass rushing SLB behind him and that guy will have a field day with Langford clogging that side of the line.

And Langford is technically the 4th rated rookie defensive player EVEN BETTER!!

well, i totally agree with their assesment on kendall... he's a very reliable force against the run, but he needs to work on his pass rush, which makes him pretty one dimensional and a situational player. He has the skills to, you see a rip move or nice hand work here and there but it has to be on a more consistent basis. Good coaching should do the job develloping him in a COMPLETE player

Given we're not the only team to have 2 players on the top 25 rookie list, its still pretty impressive. Especially when you look back at some of the draft classes previous regimes brought in. (Eddie Moore still hurts)

Where is Matt Ryan ranked? Without looking Im guessing #1. Wonder if that would be = suggesting a team with the #1 pick that needed a QB messed up by passing on him?

Is it just me or was this a pretty good rookie class?

That's OT... and at this point, more approriately argued in the general section or even better in one of the Falcons forums.
Over here, there's mostly not just satisfaction, but even elation about our team making what's turned out to be the BEST pick for US.

PS: Thought you'd appreciate the upgrade of your sig. I'm sure you can't thank me enough, eh? :hi5:

Just because Matt Ryan is ranked #1 on the Falcons doesnt mean thats what he would be ranked right now if he was on the Fins. Maybe, but who knows. Personally im very happy with how the Long pick has worked out for us.

The fact we got Henne and Pennington to go along with him really means we have to see how Henne pans out or how long Pennington lasts before we can accurately asess the Long pick.

Hmm I guess we could have just left the LT position open for another year and then have you make excuses for Ryan as he struggled due to being sacked 25 times.

Lets wait until Henne plays to make evaluations hmmmm. Quality QB dont have to be drafted 1st overall. Also doesnt Ryan have a STUD #1 receiver in Roddy White? Get over the man crush on Ryan

Ryan and White are a great duo, Ive seen so many highlights of these two this year. Before Ryan was drafted I dont remember seeing Roddy White so much on TV lol.

Clayton is a moron. He's got Mcfadden on the list ahead of Hightower and keller and Langford which is retarded. Hightower is the starter now and has 7 TD's and Keller has 3 TD's and getting better. Langford has been starting all year and has played pretty damn good against the run. All three players play for teams with winning records. But McFadden who has missed 3 games and only has 1 TD down somehow how rates higher than those 3 on a list that is about Rookie Impact. Please The Raiders are 2-8 and suck so I would like to know how McFadden's impact has been more than Hightower, Keller and Langford's impact.
