ESPN is ripping on the Dolphins for drafting Ted Ginn. Mark May said "Ginn is a return man who will not go over the middle and is not a guy who is going to bolster the receiving corp". He said "Cam Cameron, what are you thinking drafting Ted Ginn with your first draft".

ESPN Consensus

Everyone On ESPN agrees, the Dolphins really SCREWED the POOCH on this one. We now will miss out on Beck and look at Edwards if were lucky, oh and what happens to Ben Grubbs for the oline..

Its not true.

The worst pick was clearly Justin Harrell to the Packers. Also, The jets trading up for Dareele Revis was pretty ridiculous. I'd even say the micheal Griffin pick fo the titans was pretty dumb as well.

Ginn could end up being the most exciting player in this draft. None of those players can say that. Also, it was Mark May who said this, a former offensive lineman. Of course he's gonna hate a receiver pick.

yea saw that too, anyways u look at it nobody knows how any of these picks are gonna do until 2 or 3 years from now. Ted ginn is like reggie bush in that he has incredible athletisicm and speed. He is trurly a playmaker and that is what we need. lets just see how the rest of the draft plays out. we will prob land a qb in the 2nd round coming up. its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be

.........................and he's right..............unfortunately!:(

Ginn Jr. is a playmaker with blazing speed. He can go the distance every time he touches the ball whether it's on returns or catching the ball on offense. However, there are no guarantees Ginn Jr. will develop into a quality No. 2 receiver. While he has excellent speed, he ran just three routes at Ohio State so he has a tremendous amount of work to do in that area.

So, at best, this guy is a #2 man(like Chambers)?

Yatil Green was worse, but this will probably be second because of who we passed up.

It's like getting Mario Williams with Reggie Bush on the board.

Wow, like ESPN is such a great sport channel. The majority of those sole called analysts couldnt make a pick if the pick was dangling in front of their noses. ESPN is losing vast credibility and should fire 95% of the staff and get some people with kowledge of the game of football. I just saw some highlights of Ginn and he was going over the middle in about half of them. I hated the pick but im going to be supportive

This is without a doubt the worst pick we could have had. Cam and Randy should be fired on the spot. The #9 pick for a 178 lbs return man with a bumb foot!!!!!!!!!!!!! We basically traded Wes for a 2nd and 7th and then replaced him with a 1st. This is the 2nd coming of Warrick from FL St.

There is a reason why every network analyst is blasting the fins. I am sick to my stomach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have taken any of the other pics before Ginn. All it takes is one good hit on this guy and he's done! We used our #9 pick on a slot receiver who does not lick to go over the middle.

I'm done. 37 years a fin fan and this makes me as sick as if we lost every game in a season.

Then we had the chance to trade both our 2's for quinn and blew it. This is a great example of why a caoch who could not succeed at Indiana will drive this franchise into the dirt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4.28 in the 40. Enough said. This guy is F-A-S-T... Even if you dont throw to him, defenses will have to respect that kind of speed. Chambers is gonna love having this kid opposite him. Stretch the field... Speed = options.

i was at the espn zone and im telling you EVERY1 thought it was a locke for the fins to pick quinn. im so pissed of at the fins that im seriously embarrassed to even be a fins fan right now. im really considering not even watching the fins this coming season cuz they are by far the stupidest franchise i ever seen.

These are the same ppl who said that the Bills had the worst first round pick last year... see how Whitner did?

I guess these guys are always right? What ever.....

You guys just don't get it!!!!!

We could have drafted much better players the Ginn, who is HURT! A speed guy with a bumb foot that we will have to pay 25 Million over the life of his contract for a SLOT receiver!!

For all you boys that have no clue, wake the f..k up! There is a reason why ex players and coaches are blasting us for this pick. Do you think a QB with a destroyed knee or a QB that's 37 years old and has at best 2 more years or a QB named Lemon are going to bring us a championship!!!!!!!!!!!

WR in the first round are bust 60% of the time, in this case 99%!!!!!!!

See you in 2012! This will hurt for as long as his contract is!
