ESPN update on Ramsey and 4 potential trades

What’s the benefit though? We don’t need the money, we are 13 million under already. We could literally keep him, let him rot all year then release him post June 1st and have the same cap savings, only difference would be an additional 10 million pre June 1st to use while saving draft capital.

It’s a stupid trade proposal that makes 0 sense. He’s still a solid player and probably still a pro bowler if moved to safety. Trading him to an inter conference team while losing draft capital only to receive 10 million that we won use makes 0 sense. We weren’t aggressive signing anyone when there were solid free agents available, doubtful do so now with any potential savings with leftover scraps and camp cuts available.
Yes the only benefit I see would them be rolling over the 10 mill to next offseason to be a bit more aggressive, or to use the money for some upfront money in extensions for guys like Sieler and Jonnu.

Btw, Sieler has been skipping OTAs in protest of a new deal.

Drew is scum. The team should have held Shaq Barrett hostage after the garbage he pulled, but they did Drew a favor by cutting him (and not rolling the cap space over)

LOL, love that proposed trade with the Chargers. What a joke.

So this is Drew's repayment for the solid we did him on Shaq Barrett? I hope the FO remembers this.

This has happened here with his clients before. Many times. We don't owe that parasite nothin.

Seiler & Smith are just the ripple effects of those insanely stupid extensions. I hated those at the time and was crucified here for it.

There will be more aftershocks for the next season or 2 but this is a prime example of why Grier needs to get the **** out of the facility. This team has been handcuffed too long by someone who never should've have gotten the job in the first place and has overstayed his visit by about 20 years.

How long are Ross and Grier gonna ruin NFL football for us? How is **** like this still okay?

They've done A LOT of business together over the last 35 years, and I'm fairly certain they'd much rather deal with Drew than those jackals at Athletes First. At the end of the day the agent answers to his clients, there's a reason Rosenhaus earns tens of millions every year and it doesn't involve giving the Dolphins a big hometown discount.

I can’t fall through or anyone else trying to get their kind the best deal, it’s an ugly business. It’s just unfortunate that Grier get played like a fiddle, these guys own him.
