Am i the only one who noticed that ESPN avoided the patriots like the plague all weeked. Foxboro issued 74 media passes for the draft weekend. Not 1 for ESPN.

On day 2 one of the blogging reporter was reporting the espn request for interview was being turned down by foxboro.

It was funny to watch espn going on about ellis as their expected pick on saturday when friday night every boston media was reporting the saints trade and patriots targetting Mayo with the 10th pick.saturday morning boston hearld actually had the trade and pick of Mayo by the pats beat reporter as 99% to happen unless someone picks him.:sidelol:

Was a big let down knowing who the pick was .btw worst coverage by ESPN. I have nfl network on live on my computer and cannot belive the quality of coverage and knowledge gap between the coverage.

By the way is the crable guy athelitic ?

okay if you say so , espn had no coverage into foxboro for 2 yrs now ..
 
Patriots have been sulking over the way they were covered on espn for the spygate story. They shut out espn as well as the newspaper that broke spygate II. I'm kind of surprised that the NFL hasn't stepped in and forced them to open up their doors, considering all the money - and coverage that espn provides.

On a separate note, the NFL draft coverage on espn was horrible in comparison to that of the NFL Network. I had both on at the same time, and the NFLN would know about a trade before it was announced, as well as who that team would take with the pick, while espn was guessing about other players that wouldn't be taken for three more rounds, at a position that the team with the new pick did not even consider. It was almost pathetic listening to the two side by side; the NFLN would announce the next pick with three minutes to go while espn was talking about a player that ended up going in the 5th round.
