ESPN- will dolfans recognize taylor

Of course I'll recognize him. The NFL makes it real easy by putting the names on the back of the jersey and they also have some crazy numbering system.

I agree that JT will do just fine. I actually believe that he will be a bigger impact then some people might think. 8-10 sacks this year. If he goes through all the OTA's and Off-Season conditioning program he will hopefully have less chance of injury and be alot stronger then this past year. Good Luck JT!!!

You guys are setting your expectations unusually high. Not that he cannot potentially hit a high sack total, but it would probably be wise to set your expectations at 8 sacks MAX.

I was thinking somewhere between 6-8 sacks next year. Don't get your hopes up too high ;)

If he is not out there killing himself on all the running downs and focusing on the 3rd and longs with Porter coming from the other side, I cant imagine him not reaching double digit sacks. should be interesting.

Either way I see JT as a huge improvement (pass rush wise) over Roth. However still expect Roth to come out when they're expecting the run, JT & Porter make our D-Line a little suspect against the run, but a NIGHTMARE against the pass.

I think Wake will get around 8 sacks this season. I see Taylor getting around that same number - with both having a chance at getting two or three more.

I'm really excited to see the blitz packages we put together with Wake, Taylor, and Porter on long-yardage situatons

8 sacks is a pretty good number for ANYONE... I'm curious as to what has you thinking Wake will get that number when he is a complete question mark at this point...

I'm not saying it's a lock. I think he's a great athlete with good skills as a pass rusher, and I think they'll put him in situations to succeed. It's just a prediction.

The biggest thing JT brings is accountability ... that is to say, offenses are going to have to devote resources to him, AND JP. This means who ever else is in the mix will have an easier go at QB's.

JT's impact may not be in the number of sacks he provides at all, but instead in what those around him can do. It wouldn't surprize me to see JT have a 6 - 8 sack season while others are in double digits.

We may have to start an "assist" column in our stat sheet.
